Marketing Research
The workshop will assume that the participants have some knowledge of marketing prior to attendance and will focus on what research is and how it fits within the day to day operation of a company.

The objectives for the market research workshop are:

- Introduce market research in its various forms
- Explain the operation of market research in a company's activities
- Indicate when and how to utilize the different types of market research
- Impart enough knowledge of market research to enable each company to select and manage the appropriate research activities

In order to achieve the above objectives the workshop will consist of the following elements:

- Market research definition
- Marketing information systems and the process of market research
- Sources of research - Primary and Secondary research
- Results and interpretation
- Research Agencies
